Our Story
Family, friends, and anyone else fortunate enough to have tasted Joe’s cooking have been encouraging him to open his own business and sell his food – because they wanted to eat it! So, taking a leap of faith, “Foods with Flair” was born. Joe brings a bright, new and different twist to catering. While we offer standard menus, we are anything but! We mean it when we say “We cater to your taste” and prefer to build a menu around your event.
Meet our Staff
Joe Lynch always took an interest in cooking. He learned to cook traditional Italian fare growing up watching his Mother and Aunt prepare family meals. After college, Joe took over some of the cooking duties for the family and began preparing meals from recipes he found in magazines, newspapers, and on TV. Experimenting with spices and seasonings, Joe added ‘flair’ to his creations and everyone loved it when he cooked! Joe continues to do the same today and has added the favorites to our menu.
Matt Goll has been with us since the founding of Foods with Flair. He brings with
him 15 plus years of culinary experience. He also handles all baking
and specialty cake needs for Foods with Flair. Matt attended Johnson and
Wales University where he received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts.
After college, Matt has worked in many kitchens - from little small town
restaurants, to a private country club out side of New York City where he
was an assistant Chef. Matt has also shared his vast knowledge of the
culinary arts with other aspiring chefs as an instructor with Berks Career and
Technology Center for 4 years.
Michele Lynch has more experience eating Joe’s cooking than anyone else. That alone makes her the authority on the Foods with Flair menu. Michele is usually found managing the “business” end and peeling potatoes.
